The story

Barbury Property Services was started by Eddie — a Wiltshire native who moved to Somerset in 2019 with Amy, whose family has been here for generations, and a one year old daughter. They now have two girls, and have already moved again. This is home.

His background is in technology — nearly twenty years in the sector, the last six in director roles — working with household names, managing teams and complex projects. That career taught him that almost everything comes down to three things: clear communication, honest expectations, and actually delivering what you said you would.

Eddie's childhood memories are littered with him helping his parents renovate, he's always loved working with his hands and outside of work has renovated various properties of his own and assisted friends & family. That experience means Eddie's seen a lot of property problems and brings a different perspective.

The vacant property management side of Barbury came from a simple observation: when a property becomes vacant, there's often nobody local to care for it, check on it and identify future problems. If nobody can manage and protect the property, Barbury will.

Barbury exists to keep properties in good hands: maintained, monitored, and protected.
