The story
Barbury Property Services was started by Eddie, who grew up in Wiltshire and moved to Somerset in 2019 with Amy, whose family has been here for generations, and their one-year-old daughter. They now have two girls and have moved once more since. This is home.
Eddie's background is in technology: nearly twenty years in the sector, the last six in director roles, working with household names and managing teams and complex projects. That career taught him that almost everything comes down to three things: clear communication, honest expectations and delivering what you said you would.
Some of his earliest memories are of helping his parents renovate. He has always loved working with his hands, and outside work he has renovated several properties of his own and helped friends and family with theirs. He has seen a lot of property problems along the way, and brings a different perspective to them.
